🎨 Meet the Fall 2026 Artists-in-Residence!

Join us Tuesday, November 10, at Crescent City Art to meet Diana Heise, Bobby Lee, and Nick Vasquez and hear how their time in Redwood National and State Parks shapes their work.

The evening will include a short presentation, a chance to connect with the artists, and a closer look at the ways the redwoods inspire creativity.

The 37th Annual Candlelight Walk Through the Ancient Redwoods is sold out, but you can still be part of the fun! This year, our auction is going online, with unique artwork by our Artists-in-Residence, fun experiences, great gifts, and more.

Thank you to Pacific Power Foundation for awarding us a grant to help fund essential supplies and safety gear for our growing volunteer program! We are so grateful for this support.

October is just around the corner and we've got a ton of hands-on stewardship opportunities coming up here along the North Coast! As always, these events are held in partnership with California State Parks and make a tremendous impact in our effort to restore sensitive coastal habitats by removing invasive non-native plants. As a thank you, volunteers will receive one free day-use pass to Sue-meg State Park. We hope you can join us!

South Lake Tolowa – Tolowa Dunes State Park
Sunday, October 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Trinidad State Beach
Saturday, October 10, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Little River State Beach
Saturday, October 17, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Big Dune – Tolowa Dunes State Park
Sunday, October 18, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All events are free and open to the public. Volunteers of all ages are welcome (minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).

Need a ride? Free transportation from Crescent City is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Email [email protected] or call (707) 564-7388 to reserve a seat.

What to Bring: Sturdy shoes, a hat, drinking water, and a readiness for moderate physical activity. All tools and training will be provided.
