The delivery from Dreyer’s has landed at CFD — it’s time to smash some pumpkins.

See you today starting at 1:00 at the Community Center for the costume contest, with the parade starting at 2:00 and the Pumpkin Chunkin’ finale at 2:30 downtown by the gazebo.

Who will be crowned Cranford’s Best Halloween Costume - the most prestigious award anyone can ever win?

Your kids may be young now, but someday they’ll be filling out college applications and wondering what to put in the Honors & Awards section. Most top schools require at least one Cranford Halloween trophy. Some insist on two. Better start now.

The categories are by age: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-17, plus Best Duo/Trio and Best Group.

It starts at 1:00 Sunday inside the Community Center followed by the Halloween Parade 2:00 to downtown with the Pumpkin Chunkin’ finale!

Something sure seems amiss with the fish at our derby this year. Look for our contribution to the Downtown Cranford Scarecrow Stroll by Mr. J’s, and check out all the great creations throughout downtown!

This Sunday! See the CHS Marching Band and Color Guard in the Cranford Halloween Parade, followed by the famous Pumpkin Chunkin’ where we throw pumpkins off a fire truck because we can.

It all starts at 1:00 with the Costume Contest, then the Parade at 2:00 with the Pumpkin finale downtown.

Cranford! We’ve seen your amazing scarecrows and awesome carved pumpkins. Now let’s see who’s got the best Halloween costumes!

This Sunday at 1:00 is our 26th annual Cranford Halloween Costume Contest, Parade, and Pumpkin Chunkin’ starting at the Community Center. If these past winners are any indication, the creativity will be off the charts.

Trophies are awarded by age group: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, & 10-17, and for families or groups, we have Best Duo/Trio and Best Group (4+ People).

This year’s Pumpkin Carve-Out creations were, as always, amazing. Thanks to the JCAS, Hanson Park Conservancy, everyone who contributed, and to the thousands who stopped by tonight!

Tonight--and only tonight--it's the Cranford Carve-Out! As always, we’re expecting a big crowd. The trail entrance opens at 5:00 pm at Hanson Park and will close at 8:30 sharp. The JCAS does not want to disappoint anyone, but we need your understanding and cooperation. You'll likely need to be in line before 8:00–possibly earlier.

To ensure everyone can enjoy this year’s display, help us keep the line moving. Thank you for supporting this free and wonderful Cranford Halloween tradition from the Jersey Central Art Studios.
