Our 20th annual Jaycees Golf Outing is next Friday, 6/12 at Galloping Hill with a noon check-in.

Proceeds benefit the Memorial Field fund and the Jaycees’ mental health initiatives. It’s always a great day on the green for a good cause. Presented by Radius Realty.

In what’s become an annual tradition, we closed out Mental Health Awareness Month last night with a session at .

Our instructor Jenn Masella shared this quote at the end, which really stuck with many of us.

“There’s something kind of beautiful about the fact that you’ll never fully know how much good you’ve put into the world. You’ll never know who saw you smiling and felt a little less alone.
Who heard your laughter and remembered that joy still exists.
Who read your words and carried them in their heart like a secret source of comfort. Who chose to stay just because they saw you doing the same.
You don’t have to be loud to make an impact. Sometimes, just living your life, being kind, and being you is enough to change someone else’s world.
And I think that’s pretty incredible.”

SAVE THE DATE: our Leonard Snyder Memorial Father’s Day Fishing Derby returns Sunday, June 21st at Nomahegan Park from 9:00 - 11:00 am.

The pond will be stocked with bass and catfish. Free bait and bobbers for all participants with prizes by age group for the biggest fish caught. BYO rod and reel. As always, this event is completely free.
