Thank you once again for the team at Thrivent for including CFC in another generous event!
What a fantastic night hosted by Thrivent including us in their company event night at the park inclusive of client-members and company associates.
More than 100 members joined for an evening of baseball and generosity with the Somerset Patriots | New York Yankees Double-A Baseball in Bridgewater, NJ.
Thrivent partnered with CFC
spear headed by a Thrivent Action Team, attendees assembled more than 100 hygiene kits that have been donated to CFC. Board Member Lisa Daicy was lucky enough to not only attend on behalf of CFC but also got to throw out the evening’s first pitch!
An amazing time with amazing people, all .
Special thank you to Engagement Leader Jack Pettenati for coordinating the evenings events and for keeping CFC an ongoing recipient of Thrivents’ generosity.

We are so appreciative of the recent donations we have received!

The Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield held their 2025-2026 Annual Meeting and generously donated $500 to CFC. In addition to this generous monetary donation, the members cook meals and have food drives throughout the year. Thank you especially to President Stephanie Eckenrode and Community Services Council Director Zahra Massicotte for leading these efforts!

Additionally, a huge thank you to Mrs. Rodriguez and her sixth-grade Spanish students at Orange Avenue School. For more than 15 years, Mrs. Rodriguez’s students have researched traditional dishes from the 21 Spanish-speaking countries and created class Recipe Books. This year's sale raised $160 for Cranford Family Care. On June 8, CFC board member Laura Bush visited the students to share how their donation would help local families in need.

Thank you for all of these generous donations!

❤️ Support Rebecca McDonough ❤️
We're reaching out on behalf of Rebecca McDonough — a lifelong Cranford resident who grew up here, loves this town deeply, and has been courageously fighting cancer for nearly four years.
Eleven years ago, Rebecca lost her husband, George, yet she has continued to face every challenge with remarkable strength and grace. While she remains determined in her fight, her short-term disability benefits are ending, and as she transitions to long-term disability, her income will be significantly reduced while medical and caregiving expenses continue to grow.
Our goal is simple: to help Rebecca remain in her home and ensure she never has to make medical decisions based on financial hardship.
Cranford has always taken care of its own, and we're asking our community to come together once again. Any contribution, share, or message of support can make a meaningful difference in Rebecca's journey.
Thank you for helping us support Rebecca during this difficult time. Please share this post and keep Rebecca in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you to Renewal Anderson for their generous $500 donation to CFC!
We want to recognize the incredible team behind their craft fundraiser:
Lead Craft Coordinator, Jessica Markley, helped bring everything together. Her partner, Tom Shappell, served as our primary crafter, creating amazing 3D printed items that were a big hit!
A special shoutout to Jessica’s son, Presley, who spent his day off helping his mom sell and support the fundraiser, your hard work did not go unnoticed!
We’re also so grateful for our talented crafters:Jessica Szafran, William Bross, Sarah DeBerjeois, and Victor Elizondo Martinez.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, creativity, and support to make this event such a success! 🙌
