"Prajna is the ability to translate good knowledge into action"

With the divine Mangalasasanams of H.H. Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, the JET Pittsburgh chapter started classes in 2009. Vedic knowledge and culture so preciously preserved for millions of years is being lost in this modern era. What is the goal of the human life? What should one realize in this life? What should be

one's response in our daily chores? Due to the lack of answers to these questions there is confusion in the society, leading to unrest, lack of confidence and disrespect for the traditional way of living. In spite of our rich, valuable and true Vedic knowledge, we often tend to disown and distance from it due to ignorance and misinformation. Hence only a true A:cha:rya can dispel this darkness by lighting a lamp of right Vedic knowledge in our hearts. Sri: Swamiji has taken up this task of educating and reforming us so that we will be able to lead our lives in a fruitful way. Come, let us all join this movement. A person who gets benefited in this process, can lead others too in the proper direction thus empowering the entire society at large. Prajna is a series of classes conducted by trained teachers under the guidance of H.H. Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. Parents are welcome to sit in the class with their children, space permitting. Students will be learning about our ancient heritage and will thus develop to love the same. Children of age 4 years and above can participate in any of these classes. There are also numerous community functions organized to celebrate special occasions that involve all Prajna families.

Jai Srimannarayana!

Jet Cincinnati celebrated HH Swamiji's 69th Thirunakshatram on last Wednesday, October 22nd, with a few Prajna families. The event also featured the recitation of Koyil Tiruvaimozhi, Iramanusa Nootrandadi, and Upadesa Ratthinamalai, as well as a wonderful short speech by Pradeep ji on Acharya Vaibhavam, highlighting why Acharya is essential for everyone, followed by Theertham distribution.

All offered Mangalasasanams to Acharya with e-diyas. Prajna teachers and parent volunteers prepared prasadam for the event, and dinner was served to all.

Jai Srimannarayana!
Jet Pittsburgh celebrated HH Swamiji’s 69th Thirunakshatram, Sri Maha Lakshmi Pooja & Dampathi
Varivasya on Sunday, Oct 26th.
Sriman Ragahava ji explained how to perform daily thiruvaaaradhana(morning aaradhana) to god
through simple steps. Deepam is lit by intertwining two wicks denoting Jnanam and Source. It is
important to learn slokas with an understanding of their meaning to attain true Jnanam.
Smt Subhashini led a diya making workshop with all Prajnites for today’s event. Kids offered their
gratitude to God and our beloved Acharya.
Significance and meaning of Dampathi Varivasya (Pada Pooja to parents by their children) was
explained as a form of seva offered to parents recognizing them as embodiments of divine grace and
as the first link to the guru parampara. The parents are honored as symbolic representations of Lord
Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi and kids sought their blessings.
Prajna teachers and parent volunteers cooked prasa:dam for the event. Lunch was served to all.
