🐄🐑 Oklahoma 4-H State Livestock Skillathon 🐐🐖

We’re excited to host the first State 4-H Livestock Skillathon on Tuesday, July 21, at 1 p.m. at the Payne County Fairgrounds. This contest is designed to provide 4-H’ers the opportunity to develop problem-solving, teamwork and critical thinking skills while demonstrating their knowledge of meat animal production, animal science and livestock management practices.

Class divisions:
• Junior (grades 3-7)
• Senior (grades 8-12)

Participants must be active 4-H’ers to register and compete. 4-H’ers may compete as individuals or in teams of three to four.

Some of the clubs have voted to help cover a portion of the cost, so be sure to check with your leaders to see how much has been covered.

State 4-H Roundup Registration is due June 1st. Be sure to check with your local clubs for cost.
