We went and got dog food yesterday any donation is appreciated you can even place an order at tractor supply in summersville wv and we will pick it up just let us know!! We feed out almost 20 bags twice a week to feed these hungry hounds!

IT’S MEET THE DOGS MONDAY!

Some dogs are beautiful, some are sweet, and some are the whole package. Meet Spirit! ❤️

This gorgeous 80-pound girl has a stunning, shiny black coat, a beautiful face, and soulful eyes that will look right into your heart. We think she may be a Lab/Weimaraner mix, but whatever her recipe, she's made entirely of love!

Spirit arrived at our partner rescue, Saving Webster Dogs, in July, and here's what we've learned about this big girl with an even bigger heart:

• Dog-friendly and LOVES to play! Play bows, wrestling, and a good game of fetch are right up her alley.

• People-friendly and kid-friendly, too! She's playful and goofy without jumping up or knocking you over.

• Cat-tolerant. She pretty much ignores them!

• Adventure buddy extraordinaire! Daily walks, hikes, car rides (especially sh***un!), and time playing with a canine friend would make her day. She's got moderate energy and would love an active companion.

• Toy lover, treat motivated, and a quick learner! She knows her name, comes when called, and is eager to learn. No resource guarding here!

And prey drive? Moderate...well...except for those pesky squirrels? They sometimes tempt her to give chase, but they don't hold her attention for long!

Spirit will need to work on housetraining, so she'll need a patient person willing to help her master that skill. She's spayed and up to date on vaccinations, and she's ready for her next chapter!

🚨 Owner Surrender Update 🚨

Due to the cold months approaching and a shortage of volunteers, we are temporarily closed to owner surrenders. We need to reduce our numbers and keep space available for dogs coming from the pound who are in urgent need.

Thank you to everyone who's donated us food! We have been hit pretty hard the last few weeks with some hungry dogs. We have fed out almost 20 bags of food today!! It takes a village and we are so happy with our little village.
