🙏Our Prayer Vigil Still Needs You🙏

Walk #182 is almost here, and one of the greatest gifts we can give our pilgrims and team is prayer.

There are still several open spots on the Prayer Vigil, and we would love to see those hours covered, not out of obligation, but because prayer truly is part of the foundation of an Emmaus Walk.

You don’t have to be at Pinecrest. You don’t have to pray anything fancy. Simply choose a time, pause wherever you are, and lift the pilgrims, team, speakers, leaders, and every moment of the weekend before God.

Maybe you remember your own Walk and the comfort of knowing that people were praying for you around the clock. Now we have the opportunity to offer that same gift to someone else.

If you are able, please take a look at the Prayer Vigil and choose an open time.

One week from today, Pinecrest will begin filling up with the pilgrims and team of Women’s Walk 182

You can be part of making this Walk special!

🙏 Pray for the pilgrims and team.
❤️ Attend Send-off.
🥄 Come laugh with us at Gut Bucket.
🕯️ Fill the room with love at Candlelight.
🎉 Welcome the pilgrims home at Closing.

Think back to your own Walk. Remember how it felt to be prayed for, encouraged, and surrounded by a community that wanted you to experience God’s love.

Now it’s our turn to give that same gift to the pilgrims of Walk #182.

Let’s show up, pray faithfully, and help make this the best experience possible!

Have you ever looked at the way someone else serves God and wondered if you need to be more like them to be useful?

I have.🤚

I need to speak as boldly as they do.
Know as much as they know.
Have a testimony as powerful as theirs.
Make an impact as visible as theirs.

Saul’s armor may have looked like the right equipment for battle, but it wasn’t made for David!

David had to put it down and walk forward with what God had already placed in his hands.🤲

There’s a lesson in that for us!

God doesn’t need a second version of someone else.🚫

He knows YOUR personality, YOUR experiences, YOUR limitations, and YOUR gifts - 🗣️ and none of those things disqualify you from what He has called YOU to do.

This doesn’t mean we never grow, learn from others, or allow God to stretch us.

It means growth shouldn’t require pretending to be someone we’re not.

You don’t have to copy someone else’s voice to speak truth.
You don’t need their platform to make an impact.
You don’t need their story for God to use yours.

Be teachable. Be willing. Be faithful.

Then trust that the same God who called you knows exactly how He created you. 🤎✝️🙏

How do we help make Walk #182 a successful Walk?

1. Be a praying community—sign up for the Prayer Vigil and cover the pilgrims and team in prayer.

2. Send that agape! Every small note is a reminder of God’s unconditional love.

3. Participate in whatever you are able—Send-off, Candlelight, Closing, or helping behind the scenes.

Every prayer, every piece of agape, and every person who shows up helps make the Walk possible. Emmaus Community, we need you! 🌈❤️

What a beautiful morning at the Anointing Service for Women’s Walk to Emmaus #182!

We gathered, we prayed, and God met us there. His presence was undeniable, and our hearts are filled with anticipation for all He will do on this Walk.
