Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Unbelief in You is growing in our world today. Satan has blinded the eyes of millions, and they have believed his lies.

2 Thessalonians 2 says: “The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. All the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”

And Hebrews 3 says: “See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily”

May we hold firmly to Your truth and overwhelming evidence, so that we too don’t fall prey to Satan’s blinding. May we encourage one another, so that none of us fall for his evil schemes to steal our wonderful promised future.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Many today have distanced themselves from the church and from the body of believers, and they cannot figure out why their lives are drifting farther and farther away from You.

Acts 2: says: “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.”

May we remember that the closer we stay to the fellowship of our Christian brothers and sisters, and dwelling more and more in Your place of worship, the closer we are to You.

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

We see many today who claim to be Your followers, but they openly and proudly continue to live in sin and support the things that Your Word speaks against.

Any fraud can claim to be something they are not. All throughout Your Word, we see that it clearly spells out how we know who are Your real followers and who are the frauds.

1 John 3: 24 says: “The one who keeps God’s commands lives in Him, and He in them. And this is how we know that He lives in us: We know it by the Spirit He gave us.”

And Matthew 7: 16 says: “By their fruit you will recognize them.”

Help us to remember that we cannot judge by outward appearance only, but we are to look deeply at someone’s lifestyle to separate the wheat from the chaff and the sheep from the goats.

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

We live in a selfish, “it’s all about me,” society today. People don’t care about anyone or anything other than their own wants and needs.

Philippians 2: 3 & 4 says: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

Help us to remember to do Your will Father, rather than our own will. And don’t allow us to overlook those whom You place in our path each day. May we be Your hands, Your feet, and Your voice to help and reach others.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Most people don’t like hardships. Many have boughten into the lie that if their faith is strong enough, they will not have hardships, sickness, and times of monetary lack.

Hebrews 12: 7 & 8 says: “Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father ? If you are not disciplined, then you are not legitimate, you are not true sons and daughters at all.”

Lord, never allow us to fall for the false “health, wealth, and prosperity gospel” that many fall for. Your Word reminds us that in this life, we will have trials and tribulations, and we should expect them. But help us to remember that they are all a part of our Christian walk here on earth.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we gather in Your house today, regardless of Satans attempts to make it look like he is winning, we pray revival continues to spread across the globe. We pray for lost souls to be saved, broken lives to be mended, and addicted lives set free. Let our voices ring out in one accord today, let our fellowship grow, and may we hear Your Word spoken from the pulpits accross the planet today of an eternal life changing gift to a lost and dying world. Our time is short, and the fields are ripe for harvest.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

Too often we find ourselves trying to satisfy people, our family, our friends, our employer, our coworkers and even our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Jeremiah 17 says: This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in mere humans, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him”

May we always strive to satisfy You, Your will, and Your plan for our lives. Because when our short life here on earth comes to an end, only what’s done for You will matter for us for all of eternity.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

We know that most people are easily drawn away by the things of this world and never reach maturity.

Luke 8: 14 & 15 says: “The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.”

May we remember to daily be reading and listening to Your Word, retaining it, and sharing it with others, so that Your Word produces maturity in others.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

This rebellious generation has turned its back on You. They pride themselves on their sinfulness, and have no fear of the consequences of their shameful disobedient acts.

Deuteronomy 10: 12 says: “what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to Him, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul”

Help us each day to not only love You, but to display our love and devotion by following and obey Your Word. May we faithfully serve You in all that we do.

In Jesus name, amen

Pastor Rascal’s Prayer for Today

Dear Heavenly Father,

The world around us is falling apart, it is becoming a wasteland of spiritual death, hopelessness and despair.

2 Corinthians 4: 16 - 18 says: “Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Help us to keep our daily focus on strengthening our relationship with You. May we feel renewed each day as we focus on our eternal reward that is coming, rather than on this temporary, earthly, cesspools we live in today.

In Jesus name, amen
