Our mission is to help Oregon youth thrive through research-backed, community-based education and linking communities with their state university to address needs and opportunities—for Oregon’s people, environments and economy. We believe in Oregon communities and Oregon youth!

Dufur School students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade finished their four-week mini- Invention Convention project with a classroom convention on the last day. The Dishwasher 2.0 attaches to a sink and includes special bristles to clean straws for reuse. The Scrubby Buddy is a scrub brush with interchangeable plates. The SB (Splash Blocker) was designed especially for the teacher, who needs to monitor the kids while they are swimming, but doesn't want to get splashed. The creativity was flowing!

Our Deschutes County 4-H youth and chaperones are present at the Oregon 4-H Summer Conference at OSU and are ready to uncover leadership, build new friendships, and create unforgettable memories!

Over the next few days, these amazing youth will participate in educational sessions, leadership development activities, service projects, and connect with 4-H members from across Oregon. We are excited to watch them learn, grow, and represent Deschutes County 4-H.

Join us in wishing them a wonderful and successful Summer Conference experience! 🍀💚
