🌱 Rooted in Community🌱
We had an eventful day yesterday at the North Texas Food Bank Agency Partner Summit! This year’s theme, Rooted in Community, was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make when we work together to serve our neighbors in need.
We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and network with fellow agency partners, including our community partner, The Salvation Army of Corsicana. Thank you to the North Texas Food Bank for your continued support, resources, and learning opportunities that help us strengthen our efforts to fight food insecurity in our community.
💚 Did you know?
🥫 In North Texas, 1 in 6 Texans experiences food insecurity.
🥫 Over the past year, North Texas Food Bank agency partners provided 118.9 million meals to children, seniors, and families in need across its 12-county service area, which includes Navarro County.
We are thankful to be part of a network of organizations working together to ensure our neighbors have access to the food they need. Together, we are making a difference, one meal and one family at a time!
Compassion Corsicana is grateful to be part of this mission as we continue to serve our community and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
