This Friday night we have a FUN filled event planned… we are welcoming our newest members, celebrating all of our members milestones, and the PER’s are cooking the spaghetti dinner. California Elks Rally 2026… WE SURVIVED!!

What a WILD, FUN, and UNFORGETTABLE California Elks Rally!! Corona Elks Lodge #2045 showed up ready to compete, raise money, and maybe cause just a LITTLE trouble! 😂

First up… Bean Bag Baseball! We gave it everything we had, only to lose by ONE POINT!! There’s always next year!

Next up… the Purple Pig Auction! Thanks to the generosity of some amazing members, Corona Elks became the proud owners of TWO purple pigs! Because apparently, one pig just wasn’t enough responsibility for us!

Then came the DUNK TANK! Yours truly, along with the other Exalted Rulers in our district, volunteered to take the plunge! Nothing says leadership quite like sitting on a tiny platform while people PAY MONEY to knock you into a tank of water! All for our Major Project, of course!

AND THEN… THE PIG RACES! Oh, the drama!! Our Pig #1 had apparently decided that LOSING was its special talent! Race after race, that pig brought up the rear. We were beginning to think we’d purchased a very expensive pet instead of a race pig!

BUT WAIT… THE COMEBACK OF THE CENTURY!!

Our biggest LOSER suddenly became our biggest WINNER, taking the LAST TWO RACES!! Was it skill? Was it luck? Or was it the magic touch of our very own First Gent Robert and CHEA First Gent Jeff, who stepped in as jockeys?! Whatever it was, that little pig went from ZERO to HERO!!

And just when we thought we’d seen it all… HEMETGEDDON 2026 arrived in the middle of Corona Elks hosting the BUNCO game…. Mother Nature apparently didn’t want to miss the Rally and decided to make a GRAND ENTRANCE! A lot of wind, a little chaos, a few minor damages, and a whole lot of people wondering if their RVs were about to relocate themselves!

But in true ELK fashion, everyone pulled together, helped one another, and made our final night one to remember! ♥️
