Yesterday we celebrated our last group of Terrific Kids for the school year.

These kids have shown willingness to lend a helping hand and the drive to never give up. They were hand selected by their teachers because they are leaders! We cannot wait to see what these kids do next.

Enjoy your Summer and we will see you back for our Terrific Kids Series starting in September! 😊

We’re proud to celebrate this month’s Terrific Kids!

Each of these students was selected by their teachers for something deeper than just achievement. Their character, their consistency, and the way they show up every single day.

They lead by example, do the right thing when it’s not easy, and put in the kind of effort that builds real success over time.

Keep showing up. Keep doing the work. We see you, and we’re proud of you!

What’s your favorite part of Kiwanis? šŸ’¬

This week, Noah Hamil shares what peaked his interest —and it’s a good one.

We also had the honor of hearing from Crossridge Search & Rescue, an incredible husband-and-wife team leading a group of dedicated volunteers who serve on real search and rescue missions. Their heart for helping others is truly inspiring, and they could use our support—go check them out on Facebook to learn more about their mission. ā¤ļø

It’s that time again! Wednesday just keeps coming around and we love it.

This week at Kiwanis we had Brittany Swann - our newest member - speak about her position and the mission of the Lanier area Boys & Girls Club.

Thanks to our current club President, Frank Wolf, for sharing his thoughts on our speaker today!

If you’re looking for somewhere to plug in or a mentorship opportunity then come see us next week - Wednesday April 1st at 12pm - for a delicious lunch and good conversation surrounding those very things. šŸ¤šŸ»

Couldn’t make it to this past Wednesday’s meeting? That’s okay - we will meet same time and same place (Common Ground in Cornelia Wednesday at 12 pm).

This week we had Chamber President Candace Holcomb come and speak to the group about the Chamber and her initiative as the new President.

We are excited for her to help grow small and existing businesses here in Habersham County and create a multitude of opportunities for children in the community to stay, work and play here as they enter that stage of life!

See you next Wednesday!

Last week at Habersham Kiwanis:

We had a full and engaging meeting!

We were excited to welcome our newest member, Brittany Swann, Director of Development for the Boys & Girls Club of Lanier. She, along with Habersham Area Manager Stephany Small, shared an informative and inspiring presentation about the impact their organization is making in our community.

Following their presentation, we heard from Alex Robinson, the new Director of Partnership Habersham. She provided insight into the organization’s purpose, shared local statistics, and outlined her vision and mission moving forward.

We are grateful for these dedicated leaders and the meaningful work they are doing to strengthen and serve our community. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

We believe in doing things well, and sometimes that means knowing when to pivot.

Due to low registration numbers, we’re going to reschedule our Sip & Paint event for a later date. While we were excited about this one, we want to make sure every event we host is full of energy, connection, and strong community participation.
Thank you to everyone who signed up and showed interest. Your support matters more than you know.

This isn’t a cancellation of momentum, it’s a reset to build something even better.

Stay tuned. We’ve got more coming, and we’re just getting started.
