Our pantry is run by a very small team, but our mission continues to grow. As we expand partnerships with hospice organizations, home health agencies, and others who support seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community, weโ€™re looking for a few people who want to help us make a bigger impact.

This role could grow into a future board position for the right person.

โ€ข ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ž๐๐ข๐š ๐•๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ซ โ€“ Help us share our story and grow awareness online by creating content about the pantry and the people we serve.

โ€ข ๐…๐จ๐จ๐ ๐๐š๐œ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐•๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ž๐ซ โ€“ Help us pack food bags for scheduled deliveries to community partners and neighbors in need.

Most roles start with only a few hours a month and are flexible. We are looking for people with integrity who are self-driven and want to help serve our community.

Because we work with vulnerable populations, some roles may require a background check.

Behind the Scenes at the Pantry

This morning I'm loading food bags for a local hospice center partner that serves families in Stephens County and Habersham. Each month we try to provide 10โ€“15 food bags so they can better support their patients who may be facing food insecurity while going through hospice care. These bags are headed out this afternoon.

Itโ€™s a small team of two working behind the scenes, doing what we can to help our neighbors during a difficult time.

We donโ€™t have large grants or major donors. Everything we do depends on community support. Every dollar donated and every can of food truly matters.

We support the people who are often forgotten.

Seniors who no longer drive.
Hospice patients and their caregivers.
Veterans facing transportation and access challenges.

Through our community partners, we help reach neighbors who struggle to get to stores, services, or larger programs.

We are a small pantry serving Habersham and Stephens counties.
Not loud. Not flashy. Just focused on real needs in our community.

What a huge success todayโ€™s pantry event was โ€” zero wait times and 50 families served with smooth, steady flow from start to finish. We got to meet so many wonderful people, and it was truly an honor to help each one.

The second half of our event is next Saturday, and weโ€™re already looking forward to serving the next 50 families.
