My Princess. My only daughter. My Leo twin. 🦁❤️
There are moments when even I am at a loss for words—and watching you become the young woman you are today is one of them.
In so many ways, you have followed in my footsteps without even trying—and then you took those steps and crushed them. From sports, to developing your relationship with God before I truly didn’t at your age, to becoming a community activist and leader with a heart for people—you continue to make me proud.
Your mother and I have worked hard to give you everything we did not have, and then some. Watching you attend the college of your choice—your dream school, Howard University—was a miracle. Seeing us come together to make $22,000 a semester happen is a miracle. And now, seeing prestigious organizations recognize you for the work you are doing and the woman you are becoming… it is a feeling I cannot fully explain.
You are not just carrying the Berry name—you are building a legacy of your own. A legacy of faith, purpose, excellence, service, and determination.
I’m just a proud Dad celebrating his only child, his Princess, and the person chosen to carry the Berry legacy forward.
I love you forever, Tanbrance. Keep walking in your purpose. The world is already better because you are in it. ❤️🦁
