It is CRITICAL that the Senate avoid another costly shutdown by funding the government through a continuing resolution. The Senate must act TODAY or our livelihoods will be in danger.

We got out of a meeting in Lockhart, Texas, at Krause Market, with Governor Greg Abbott to let him know that we were with AFGE and with TSA. What he told us is that after the State of the Union address, they would be working on stopping the shutdown. Just to let you know, we are going out as a union and talking to the people we need to, trying to fight for our people.

Just wanted to let you know I’m coming in from D.C. Over the last few days, I’ve had multiple conversations with senators and members of Congress, directly addressing the needs of our union and the realities our people are facing.

We’re not just fighting for positions or policies—we’re fighting for people. For the workers who too often feel like they can be discarded by an agency that forgets their value, their sacrifice, and their service.

I want you to know this clearly: we have your back. We are standing with you, we are on your side, and we will continue to fight—firmly and consistently—for our workers’ rights and for what is in the best interest of our members and their families.

This fight continues, and you are not alone.

For anyone who doesn't know it, or realize what is going on right now, there is an open war going on right now with the federal civil service and the current administration. They have total contempt for every aspect of the federal government and are on a scorced earth campaign to destroy every aspect of the federal government. They do not believe in any function or service the federal government currently has, and have no interest in keeping any federal program going forward. From the FBI, FAA, SSA to the National Park Service, they do not believe in any of it.

If you or anyone in your family relies on any services or benefits connected to any federal program, you should be very concerned. If you fly, drive, or eat anything, you better start questioning the safety of that activity. If you take medicine or are relying on a benefit program to pay for it, get ready to pay a lot more than you were before. If you live in an area prone to severe weather events or have recently experienced a calamity, you will be on your own for recovery. No one will be coming to help you.

Federal programs are being stripped of employees, grants are being cancelled, programs cancelled and whole agencies are being shuttered without any warning. Employees are being required to report to offices, with no adequate work areas and told to take turns using work stations. Employees are being let go for fabricated reasons and shut out of the personnel files that would document otherwise. Employees are now being required to report directly back to OPM, what they did last week. Why do we need agency heads, when Elon and his cohorts are calling the shot. What do they know about nuclear safety, medicine efficacy, controlling a contagious disease outbreak, food safety, keeping planes properly spaced in the sky or any number of things that government personnel do on a daily basis, without fanfare or anybody realizing they are doing it.

This is no longer about immigration or the high cost of eggs or gas. This is about who we are as a country. Do we believe in a representative democracy or dictatorship.

Yes folks, this is a full on war against the federal civil servants now, but you will be impacted by it. This isn't about waste, fraud or abuse anymore. This about the administration seizing control of our country and installing himself as the ultimate dictator.

Call your elected Representative and Senators and demand they put an end to this now. Failure to take action, will cost us all.
