Koopa has been doing great with keeping on his diapers but even after being expressed he still sometimes uses 6-7 a day when his tummy is upset and he has been expensive! He had gotten down to his last pack and I hadn’t had any luck finding a human baby size to fit him right and save some money. Well this week we got extremely lucky and found an amazing community on an app called Whatnot and we were able to buy him LOTS of cheap diapers and he even had one kind person on there purchase more diapers for him too! Normally he stays in his bedroom with plastic lined floors and potty pads but having diapers on means he gets to be out in the whole house with the family and it’s a huge quality of life increase for him. He still stays in his room overnight because he can’t stay in a diaper for 8 hours but it’s a huge stress relief to not have to worry about buying them for awhile! Animal people are the best people and he’s such a lucky little man who gets to have a lot more living room time. He would also like to share his recent cat toys! He may or may not share with the other kittens, you never know with Koopa 😅

Derpy Tiger is hoping to find a home for Catmas!
He’s super sweet and silly but he does talk nonstop, he’s very vocal for a ginger cat and he just talks to talk.
He’s a big personality and will bring alot of orange cat energy into your home.
He has even decided to put himself on clearance with a reduced adoption fee for the month of December in hopes it helps him find a home for the holidays.

Chococat is here to say “eat your fruits and vegetables!”
I’m not sure why he says that because he’s a kitten and eats neither of those things but he might just be loopy and feeling the exhaustion after helping pawtograph some of the holiday cards.
The first round of cards have been mailed out!

If anyone else is interested or if you have a loved one who might enjoy receiving a card with kitty cheer, the link is in the previous post and I’ll be removing it once we run out and will be mailing all remaining cards by the 20th.

Today is a busy day!

4 kittens went in to be neutered today.

Baby Ginger was returned from foster care last night and Koopa is very happy to have his little buddy back, he takes good care of all the small kittens and makes sure they don’t miss any grooming time.
Koopa also finally found some diapers that he doesn’t scoot out of so he’s excited to be allowed on the couch again 😅

Chococat is feeling a lot better! His wounds are healing great, he still has a slight limp but he doesn’t want to slow down.

Another new kitten joining the group!
This is Chococat, he’s about 6 weeks old and was brought to a local shelter after being found in a car engine. He has a small burn on his back foot, a cut on his face, and a limp in his front left leg but he’s doing great so far. He will most likely be ready for adoption in January if all goes well.
He came in at a great time because we got a lot of kitten food donated right after he arrived so he will be eating good! Thank you so much to everyone who supports the kittens here with donations and post interactions, every life matters and it’s a great feeling to have help providing for the little nuggets.

Introducing Derpy!
He’s 3.5 months old and this boy knows how to have a good time. He lives up to the orange cat stereotype and he isn’t the brightest when it comes to brainpower but he’s very sweet and his antics are pretty funny to witness.
Will he throw a tantrum while trying to squeeze through the crack where the door meets the wall instead of going through the open door beside him?
Yes he will!
Will he stand blindly like a meerkat bobbing around trying to see what’s going on across the room instead of climbing to a better vantage point?
Yes he will!
He’s very good with other cats and has been in a home with small kids before and was great.
He’s very talkative and he has a lot to say about pretty much everything all the time.
Derpy will be neutered and ready for a new home on Friday December 5 just in time for the holidays!
What he lacks in brain cell he makes up for in heart ❤️

Things have been moving so fast lately!

This week we also received the largest monetary donation we’ve ever received, enough to cover 33 spay and neuter surgeries in 2026! Thank you so much to Analou Eisner for thinking of us when deciding where to send your generous donation! We are a small rescue and that amount of money makes a huge impact on what we can do for more kittens.

We’re currently down to one adoptable kitten and that happens to be Gravy! Hopefully he finds a home soon because he’s a special boy who’s going to be someone’s best friend. He really doesn’t like dogs, he’s too confident for his own good sometimes but he’s wonderful with kids and cats.

Intake is open right now so hopefully we get some new kitten nuggets to introduce soon. Our two youngest are in foster-to-adopt homes and our two oldest are now special needs adults so we’re running out of kittens for the first time in awhile.

He’s 4.5 months old, fully vetted, very social and talkative, very cuddly, and an extremely clingy lap cat.
He will follow you around nonstop and make sure you’re never lonely 😅
He’s a BIG personality.

Who needs Batman when you can have…. GravyMan?
The title is a work in progress but he’s ready for Meowloween!
Chili and Gravy are both ready for adoption and have been listed on Petfinder so if you know anyone looking for a feline super hero this week, they can both fit into the same costume 😅
They are both exceptionally skilled at fighting loneliness, cold laps, and flies. They won’t help if someone tries to break into your home but I would hate the be that stray fly who wanders into the kitchen!

Both boys are 4 months old and already neutered, fully vaccinated including rabies, microchipped, and up to date on parasite prevention. They will go home with their medical records and a bag of toys/snacks. We have plenty of extra supplies so if you need some things like litterboxes, food, carrier, etc then we can definitely provide them and you can skip a trip to the pet store.

Edited to add that Gravy does not like dogs and needs a home without dogs, he is a dog bully but he loves cats and kids.

We will be out here until 2pm at Pet Pawlooza in Live Oak! We don’t have any real kittens today but we have some adoptable plushies and some random items on our table for fundraising. Candy and cat keychains free for everyone!

This Saturday!
We will be there with some goodies for the trick or treaters, plush toy kittens for adoption, and hopefully some real kittens. Katie Cat would love to meet some people and Chili is getting neutered today but if he feels up for it then he’ll be there too handing out free cuddles.
