Youth M.O.V.E. New Hampshire is a non-profit organization that advocates for the youth voice in youth-serving systems statewide. What we do:
Youth M.O.V.E.

New Hampshire helps to guide the redevelopment of the systems impacting youth in our state so that every youth who enters a youth serving program is being prepared for life through genuine opportunities and authentic youth involvement and leadership throughout all systems levels. New Hampshire is actively working towards the day when all people will recognize and accept the culture of youth, their families, and the communities that serve them in order to be truly culturally-competent. We all stand as partners: youth, youth advocates, supporters, parents, and professionals to ensure that our youth become successful. Why we do it:
Youth M.O.V.E. New Hampshire looks forward to a time when youth are no longer treated as numbers, problems, or caseloads, but as individuals and humans in order to ensure that no youth falls through the cracks. We advocate for youth to utilize their power and expertise to foster change in their communities and their own lives while empowering them to recognize their full potential for positive outcomes and a successful future. How We Do It:
Assist in developing the Youth Leadership Program at meetings and events
Create youth movement principles and policies
Develop training tools, guides and other documents
Unite the voices and causes of youth
Act as consultants to youth, providers, families and other adults

Slow your scroll and ground yourself in the present by searching for any of the following:

- Something you’d see at the beach
- An object with multiple colors
- Flowers that have white petals
- Something good for a hot day
- Anything you’d find underwater
- Items you could have fun with
- Something related to swimming
- Things you might find outside
- An item you could carry around
- Something you’d eat or drink
- Objects you could sit on or in
- Summertime clothing or shoes
- The first animal / insect you see
- Something you could see through
- 10 (or more!) different seashells
- Items that offer sun protection

By looking for these things, you’re using one of your five senses to connect with the present moment. You can do this anywhere by looking around you for a specific color or shape — or come back here anytime and choose an another option from the list to look for!
