This is the old Healthworks fitness Center on Western Avenue.

A shelter has been opened at 3542 Western Ave. for those who are displaced due to the flood. This shelter has 24/7 staffing for intake. Please don't sleep in your car. We can arrange transportation for school children to and from school. Please share this post to get the word out. Flyers will be circulating throughout the city and at distribution points. If you know some please have them call the (765) 222-1530 or they can walk in 24/7. We will have showers starting tomorrow and laundry facility trailer.

We will be hosting a Small Business Flood Recovery next Thursday to bring our business community together for an open discussion about what you are experiencing, needing, and what resources are available to you moving forward.

This is going to be an open discussion, and not a formal presentation or meeting. We want to sit with you and figure out a plan moving forward.

We will be joined by a representative from the U.S. Small Business Administration(SBA) who can provide information and answer questions about resources available to businesses following disasters and catastrophic events.

Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30 PM at 825 N Central Ave.

Whether your business experienced physical damage, interruptions to operations, or you simply want to be part of the conversation- please join us.

Our small businesses are incredibly important to Fayette County, and understanding what you're facing is the first step in learning how we can move forward- together.
