For 20 years, our story has been shaped by the communities we serve, the partnerships we’ve built, and our commitment to expanding access to care.

We started as Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers. Today, we are AxcessPointe Health System. But the journey between then and now is about more than a name. It’s about the people, partnerships, and moments that helped shape who we are today.

The Point Between Then & Now: A Short Documentary tells that story through the voices of patients, board members, and community partners who have witnessed our growth and impact firsthand.

Twenty years of community health care. One unforgettable evening.

On September 25, AxcessPointe Health System gathered with staff, patients, community partners, sponsors, donors, and supporters at The Velvet Hour Gala to celebrate 20 years of serving our communities.

The evening was a reflection on where we started, how far we’ve come, and the people who have helped shape the organization we are today. From honoring our history to looking ahead to what’s next, the celebration was a meaningful reminder of the impact made when a community comes together around a shared mission.

The event also helped advance our Indigent Care Program, supporting continued access to care for patients facing financial barriers.
