🐾 **Dog Cleaning Crew**
Help staff clean and prepare kennels for dogs and puppies. It’s physical, messy work that includes picking up waste, changing bedding, and using hoses and squeegees to keep spaces clean and comfortable. Don’t forget to wear clothes that can get dirty!

🐕 Dog Walking 🐕
Walking shelter dogs is different from walking a family pet. Some dogs may not be used to leashes, may react to other dogs, or could pull with excitement. Our Lead Dog Walking Volunteers are here to help with training, guidance, and scheduling so you feel confident and prepared!

A quick heads up that BCHS is open for appointments only on Monday, 6/15. Feel free to give us a call or stop in when we return to regular hours on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12-5pm and Saturday 10am-1pm!

PS - Marla, the lover pictured here, is one of our longest term residents and a staff and volunteer FAVORITE! She is currently in a foster home, so appointments are required to meet her. Don’t let that stop you - she’s worth it 🥰

🚨 Calling all laundry angels! 🚨

Our shelter is FULL of kittens, stray dogs, and our adoptable animals, it’s raining, and it’s a long weekend… which means it’s the perfect time for our dryer to stop working again 😅

We are seeking volunteers to pick up a bag or two of laundry to wash and return to the shelter. This will help us stay on top of everything until we can fix the dryer!
