In any other profession, this type of job performance evaluation would result in immediate termination. Yet, because of incumbent advantage, members of Congress are re-elected at over a 90% rate, term after term.

We need to return to the concept of citizen-legislators. End the era of the "forever" job in Washington.

It is time for the United States to demand the same. Term limits are the ultimate anti-corruption measure. They ensure that government remains accountable, temporary, and focused on the future of our nation rather than the career of a politician.
