Hereā€™s our July lineup.

This month features our signature grief support groups ā€” the heart of our community and facilitated healing spaces for connection and support. Weā€™re partnering with āœØWrite2ThriveāœØ for a special womenā€™s support group this month.

We close July with Poetry Nights led by Atlas and Aleesha. Registration will open soon for Poetry Nights.

Every Thursday, weā€™re met with a room full of empty chairs, never knowing who will walk through the door.

And every final Thursday of the month, those chairs are filled with humans carrying real emotions, real stories, and a willingness to show up for one another.

Weā€™re incredibly grateful for this past Thursdayā€™s Poetry Night. Shoutout to Atlas and Leesh Carter for always leading vulnerably and passionately. Thank you to our partner The Scatter Joy Project for giving us the space to come together and express freely.

There were emotions moving through the entire room with every piece shared; emotions from resonance, from support, from release, from freedom, and from liberation. It was a reminder that when we create space for honesty, healing has somewhere to land.

Weā€™ll be back next month, same time, ready to hold space again.

A special thank you to Ohio State Representative Dontavius Jarrells Dontavius Jarrells for not showing up as a title, but as a human. Thank you for sitting with community, listening, and being present. We see you, and thank you for seeing us.

We often celebrate Juneteenth through joy and we should.

But liberation also asks us to make room for grief.

Our ancestors carried unimaginable loss while continuing to imagine a future they might never see.

At The Grief Club, we believe grief and joy are not opposites.

They are companions.

Good grief, Good God led by Landon.

Thank you to everyone who showed up and shared space with us where grief and God meet; where honesty is welcome, emotions are held, and healing is not rushed.

There is something sacred about gathering in community and allowing both the weight and the grace to exist at the same time. We donā€™t have to choose between our pain and our faith ā€” we can bring it all into the same room.

We are continuously grateful for every voice, every silence, every moment of release.
