Motherful (Mothers In Arms) is a Mom-Profit organization dedicated to supporting single mothers and their families.

In Columbus, the emergency housing funds that once helped families stay afloat are nearly gone. The programs that stood between a missed rent payment and an eviction notice are drying up, and the safety nets are disappearing while the need remains.

When the systems fail, the village steps up. That is what Motherful has always been, and it is what we are asking you to be right now. Every dollar goes directly to a family. No overhead. No delays. Just our community taking care of one another.

Whenever there is an opportunity that can support another mom, moms show up. To cheer, listen, hold a baby, or pass along the resource someone needs.

That is what makes Motherful what it is. Moms holding space for moms, again and again.

Last week, Besa partnered with the United Way of Central Ohio team to develop options for Designer Brands Inc.'s upcoming 2026 Day of Service.

Because Designer Brands greatly enjoyed working with Motherful in the past, they specifically requested to return again this year! They joined us at the new Motherful Village and helped us clean up the playground. We are so grateful for their support!

Justice Mobile is back at Motherful on Sunday, October 11th, from 10 AM to 12 PM.

So many of the hardest moments in a mom's life come with paperwork attached: custody, housing, benefits. Having someone in your corner to help you navigate next steps is exactly what Justice Mobile is here to do!

Sometimes community starts with a simple conversation.

These moments can look small, but they carry a lot when you're raising a family on your own.

You don't build a community out of grand gestures. You build it out of Sundays that keep happening, week after week, until showing up stops feeling like an event and starts feeling like home.

At Motherful, we want every mom who walks through our doors to have people she can turn to and a space where she isn't carrying it all by herself.

That's what this village is for. 💜

A month at Motherful can hold a lot.

There are days that feel full and loud, and days that feel a little slower. There are new faces, familiar ones, unexpected conversations, and plenty of reasons to laugh along the way.

What stays with us is the feeling of having somewhere to go and people to share it with.

That’s the kind of village we’re building at Motherful.

MAAT Film Festival creates room for filmmakers to bring forward experiences, perspectives, and questions that matter.

Stories about justice. Advocacy. Motherhood. Women’s rights. Immigration. Food insecurity. War. The realities people live every day.
