No matter what your mind may tell you in your hardest moments, you are loved, valued, and worthy of care.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that you do not have to carry everything alone. There is comfort in connection, courage in asking for support, and hope even on the days that feel overwhelming. Your story matters, your feelings matter, and your presence in this world matters.

Take time to care for yourself, check in on those around you, and remember, you are never alone.

Grief affects every family member differently, and supporting one another through loss can feel challenging at times. Our monthly Family Grief Support Group provides a caring and supportive space where children and caregivers can come together for understanding, connection, and encouragement.

On Wednesday, June 10, children ages 6–12 will participate in interactive activities and guided discussions designed to help them express emotions, strengthen coping skills, and feel supported in their grief journey. While children meet together, caregivers will gather separately to connect with others, share experiences, and receive guidance on supporting both their children and themselves through grief.

This group is created to offer families a sense of community, support, and reassurance that they do not have to navigate grief alone.

Registration is required for each session you wish to attend. We look forward to welcoming your family. Register here: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/-4o5vnYxl9XCPTrK8n-bxQ

Mental Health Monday!

Summer is almost here, bringing brighter days, fresh starts, and new routines. As schedules change and life speeds up, don’t forget to take care of yourself along the way.

Mental health matters in every season. Whether that means taking a walk outside, spending time with people who make you feel supported, setting boundaries, or simply allowing yourself time to rest, small moments of care can make a big difference.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, remember that it’s okay to ask for help, okay to slow down, and okay to put your well-being first. You deserve support, compassion, and care.

Through therapeutic art and reflection, participants will create personalized memory boxes filled with meaningful memories, special items, and expressions of love. Supplies will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring small keepsakes to place inside their box or share if they feel comfortable. We hope this gentle evening offers comfort, healing, and a space to remember together.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re sharing 6 reminders for anyone navigating the loss of a loved one. Grief can impact every part of our mental and emotional well-being, and it’s important to remember that there is no “right” way to grieve.

As you move through your journey, give yourself permission to feel, to rest, to ask for support, and to take things one day at a time. You are not alone, and your grief deserves compassion and care.

Join us next Monday for an evening of remembrance, creativity, and connection.

Families are invited to share in a heartfelt evening of remembrance as we honor the lives of those we love in a creative and meaningful way. Together, we’ll decorate pots and plant flowers—each one a living symbol of love, memory, and connection that continues beyond loss. We’ll also gather for dinner, taking time to be together, reflect, and celebrate the people who will always be part of our stories.

This gathering welcomes children of all ages and their families, offering space for comfort, connection, and remembrance.

Mother’s Day can hold so many emotions, especially for those carrying loss.

Today, we honor the love that never fades, the mothers who are deeply missed, the children who are always held in a mother’s heart, and the women walking this day with quiet strength.

We are holding space for you today and remembering alongside you. You are not alone.

Grief can feel incredibly isolating, but something powerful happens when we gather with others who truly understand. At Cornerstone of Hope, we see the transformation that comes when people share their stories and realize they are not alone. Within our groups, a sense of community begins to grow, one built on empathy, shared experience, and hope. Together, we find comfort and strength in the understanding eyes and kind hearts of those walking a similar path.

Throwback to Camp last summer!

The connections built, the support shared, and the meaningful moments experienced throughout the week were all possible because of the incredible volunteers who showed up for grieving children and teens.

As we prepare for this year’s camp, we’re looking for compassionate volunteers to help create another unforgettable experience for our campers. Whether you’re helping lead activities, encouraging campers, or simply being a supportive presence, your time can make a lasting impact on a child navigating grief.

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer, we’d love for you to be part of Camp!
