On Wednesday evening, Diva Teenie took part in the Motorcycle Ohio presentation of the 'Saved By The Helmet' event at QSL. During these events, motorcyclists who have survived a crash have a chance to tell their story of how their helmet helped saved their life and they're presented with a brand new helmet. Divas Duchess and Scrapper were on hand to lend their support. We were honored to attend and be a part of John's presentation!

Now that I’ve sulked a couple of days, I can report that I dropped my bike * TWICE * during the BRS-2 class this weekend. The first time was ‘quick-stop’. I was playing around with my ABS and plain forgot to keep my handlebars straight when I stopped. Blip. Second was ‘stopping on a curve’. I was ‘so efficient’ that I stopped moving before I was upright. Blip. Both times to the right (my weak side). Both times because I’m rusty from the winter and I have shrimpy legs compared to the weight of my bike.

Think you’re such a strong and seasoned rider that you don’t need a class? Think again. Think your skills don’t get rusty or you don’t get complacent? Think again.

Safety is more important than ego! Take a class at Motorcycle Ohio!
