We believe every Doberman deserves a forever home. To accomplish this goal, our nonprofit rescue depends on support from people like you! Donations allow us to rescue Dobes left with no where to go, and provide the care they need. Our Dobes come from animal shelters, humane societies, and owner surrenders. After time in a caring foster home, we carefully place these dogs into approved adoptive hom

es. We also work to educate the public about the Doberman breed, the importance of spaying and neutering, training, and responsible, humane pet care.

๐“๐ก๐ž "๐“๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ" ๐š๐ซ๐ž ๐“๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ !

We have some incredible news to share regarding our resilient duo, 1-year-old siblings, ๐€๐ฌ๐ก๐š and ๐ƒ๐ซ๐š๐ฑ. Found as strays and transferred to us from an Ohio shelter, these 'twins' arrived in a heartbreaking state of neglect. Both were dangerously underweight. After a critical period of recovery and steady re-feeding, these two have officially turned a corner and are preparing for the next big step in their journey.

Today, we are celebrating a much happier reality. Both siblings have been gaining weight steadily and are looking stronger with every passing day. They are currently thriving in separate foster homes, a transition that has allowed their unique personalities to blossom. By removing the need to compete with each other for food or attention, theyโ€™ve finally let their guards down and are showing us their true, affectionate natures.

Despite their difficult start, their capacity for love remains limitless. Asha and Drax have both proven to be the ultimate snuggles, showing us time and again that they are world-class companions who just want to be near their humans.

Because of their amazing progress and the dedication of their foster families, these two will be making their debut as available Dobes very soon. They have shown us that while their past was heavy, their future is incredibly bright. Stay tuned for their official bios, as we canโ€™t wait to see where their stories go from here. Just a short time ago, 13-month-old ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ was facing a crisis that no dog should ever have to endure. Rushed to MedVet with a life-threatening blockage, he was at a crossroads where every second counted. Faced with an impossible choice, his owner made the selfless decision to surrender him so he could receive the emergency care he desperately needed to survive.

When the call came, we didnโ€™t hesitate for a single moment. We told the vets the only answer that mattered: โ€œ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ ๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜€ ๐—น๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ. ๐——๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐˜€๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜†.โ€
That decision set us on a path that would not have been possible without this incredible community. To everyone who stepped up, shared his story, and donated toward his very expensive medical billsโ€”THANK YOU. Your generosity was the bridge between a tragedy and the miracle we are witnessing today. Because of you, we could focus entirely on Cormacโ€™s survival and recovery.

Today, we are so incredibly happy to share that the vibrant, soulful Doberman we all fought for is finally back. His incision has healed beautifully, and the boy who was once struggling just to breathe is now a blur of motion. Cormac absolutely loves to run, embracing the freedom of a healthy body with every ounce of energy he has.

Life for Cormac these days is a series of new discoveries. He is currently enrolled in "Fetch Academy," though he seems to have invented his own version of the game. In Cormacโ€™s world, the goal is to find the ball and keep it forever as a trophy; his foster family is patiently working to convince him that returning the ball is actually how the game keeps going! He is proving to be a brilliant student, already mastering "sit," "come," and a very necessary "drop it." They are currently focusing their efforts on "off," helping him learn that while he is excited to see everyone, all four paws should stay on the floor.

Cormac is a living testament to the power of a second chance. Because of the quick action taken during his darkest hour and the financial support that followed, he is no longer a medical emergencyโ€”he is just a happy, goofy puppy getting to experience the world for the very first time. Thank you for standing by him and helping us turn his story from one of tragedy into one of pure joy.
