Friendly reminder for all newly admitted Miami University students, families, and alumni in the Columbus area. The summer before college is full of excitement — and a few nerves. Our New Student Send-Offs are a fun way to ease into the Miami experience, meet fellow students and families, and hear about life in Oxford from local alumni.

Join the Columbus Alumni Chapter on Sunday, July 26, from 2-4 p.m. at Nottingham Trace Clubhouse. Thank you to Miami alumna, Jennifer Vestal ‘89, who is opening her community’s clubhouse to welcome the newest RedHawks and their families. Jennifer is also the parent of two Miami grads (‘19 and ‘24)!

This casual gathering is a great chance to connect before move-in day! While alumni can’t answer questions about things like financial aid or housing, they’re happy to share tips, stories, and what they wish they’d known before day one. There will also be light refreshments and snacks. Please register or send us a message if you wish to attend! ❤️🤍

Start your Saturday morning with fellow Miami alumni at Schiller Park! Join us on Saturday, June 20, at 9 a.m., for a relaxed community walk, great conversation, and a chance to connect with local RedHawks.

After the walk, anyone who would like to continue the fun is invited to grab coffee or tea together nearby. Whether you’re new to the area or reconnecting with fellow alumni, this is a great way to stay active and build connections with the Miami community.

Be sure to wear your Miami gear so we can easily spot one another and show our RedHawk spirit!
All Miami alumni, friends, and family are invited to attend. Let us know you’ll be there by registering online! We hope to see you there!

Additional Upcoming Dates: July 18, Aug. 15, Sept. 19, and Oct. 17.

Attention Alumni! We want to remind you about this year’s Miami Outing to the Columbus Clippers game, as the ticket purchase deadline is approaching (June 1)!

The Clippers face off against the Omaha Storm Chasers on Sunday, June 7. The first pitch is set for 1:05 p.m.

This year, our seats will be located above the right-field wall in the Pedialyte Porch. This exclusive spot offers delectable cuisine, personalized service, and an unparalleled view! Indulge in our buffet, featuring two meat selections, two main sides, a snack option, assorted cookies, and soda and water. The buffet kicks off when the gates open (12:05 p.m.) and concludes 30 minutes into the game.

All Miami alumni, friends, and family are invited to attend. Tickets are $43 and include admission to the game, access to the Pedialyte Porch, and a delightful 90-minute buffet. You can find more information and register on the alumni website. We look forward to seeing all of you there!
