What a week at CAFO! 🤍

We’re especially grateful to see Melody representing Upstream and leading a Family Preservation connection time!

And one of the sweetest parts of this week? So many Upstream members were gathered at CAFO, giving us the gift of connecting in person! There’s something special about being surrounded by people who are doing this work in different places and different ways, but all moving toward the same vision.

Our friends at My Village Ministries recently had Eugene Norris from The Chalmers Center as a guest on their podcast (The Pod at My Village) to share about poverty and the local church.

Eugene used a beautiful Biblical perspective to talk about how to best serve those in poverty while maintaining dignity and honor.

Last year, we had the incredible honor of welcoming Eugene and his knowledge to our conference. Join us this upcoming year as we engage in further discussion of supporting the families we serve through Biblical hospitality.

Tammy is a beloved wife, mother, speaker, counselor, author & daughter of the King of kings. She brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of Soul Care and we cannot wait to have her leading us at our conference.

Above all, Tammy loves Jesus. She lives her life to glorify Him, testify of His power & greatness, and provide encouragement, joy, laughter, and blessing in every context.

This month we’re highlighting COMPACT Family Services! CompACT is new to Upstream and we’re so glad they’ve joined our ever growing network of family preservation ministries.

Based out of Arkansas, with growing locations in other states as well, CompACT seeks to provide services and resources to help churches and others redeem vulnerable children & families.

CompACT services include community, residential placement, and prevention services - leaning on the will of God and his provision for those served.
