National Church Residences is a not-for-profit 501(C)(3) corporation and a leader in senior HUD housing. We are the nation’s largest not-for-profit developer and manager of affordable senior housing and services. With 340+ communities in 28 states, including five Ohio-based senior health care communities, National Church Residences also owns and operates two southern Ohio continuing care retiremen

t communities (CCRCs): Bristol Village and Traditions of Chillicothe, in Waverly and Chillicothe, Ohio, respectively. National Church Residences also operates InCare, the organization’s senior home health care agency, as well as Heritage Day Health Centers, which has five locations across central Ohio. We work in conjunction with the City of Upper Arlington via the STAY UA program, which provides Upper Arlington residents needed social services and health care in order to allow seniors to age-in-place in their own homes.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the opening of Hebron Station — a new 42-unit affordable senior housing community in Licking County that was fully leased before opening, underscoring the urgent and growing need for attainable housing across our region.

Hebron Station represents more than a new development. It’s what can happen when local leaders, housing advocates, financial partners, and community organizations come together to invest in solutions that create lasting impact.

Thank you to our incredible partners who helped bring this vision to life, including Affordable Housing Trust for Columbus and Franklin County, Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), Fifth Third Bank, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Ruscilli Construction, Berardi + Partners, Raymond James, the Village of Hebron, and the many regional leaders involved in the Central Ohio Regional Housing Coalition.

Purpose was on full display at the Walk in Our Boots 5K, supporting veterans experiencing homelessness across our community.

At National Church Residences, that impact is felt at the Commons at Livingston, where veterans are not just finding housing, but rebuilding stability, connection, and a sense of belonging. Behind that work is our dedicated Supportive Housing team, creating pathways to renewed purpose every day.

We believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Our supportive housing communities provide more than housing; they offer a foundation for rebuilding lives, connecting residents to the resources and care that support long-term stability and independence.

At Harmony Trace in Hilliard, Ohio, connection became purpose in action.

In partnership with Seeds of Caring Columbus, a nonprofit equipping children to build a more compassionate community, residents and volunteer families came together for a game day that bridged generations.

Older adults facing homelessness in Central Ohio is a reality impacting too many lives - and one that requires collective action to address.

Our Director of Public Relations, Tricia Strahler, and Public Policy Manager, Corri Page, recently joined in to discuss this topic at the Columbus Metropolitan Club. Alongside leaders committed to advancing housing stability and health for older adults, we explored real, data‑driven solutions for helping older adults remain safe, healthy and supported in their homes.

Thank you to Community Shelter Board, Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, the Age‑Friendly Innovation Center at The Ohio State University College of Social Work, and Councilmember Tiara Ross for ensuring these issues, and solutions, remain front and center.
