We made it to Chicago for Sister Singers Festival! 🎶 We shared a bus with our neighbors Calliope Feminist Choir, and let’s just say a song or three broke out along the way. 🎼❤️

Our host chorus Artemis Singers gave us the warmest welcome imaginable by serenading us with “A Crowded Table” by The Highwomen. We’re already feeling the love, and we can’t wait for the workshops, the feminist energy, and the friendships this week will bring.

One of the most special moments of our concert this past weekend was a song that involved audience participation! This Call and Response song by Sarina Partridge was written for the Singing Resistance. Singing Resistance is a nationwide nonviolent movement, originating in Minneapolis in 2026, that uses vocal music and song to protest injustices like ICE actions, advocate for immigrant neighbors, and process community grief.
