Meet Alice, a sweet and gentle senior girl whose heart remains full of love despite a painful turn of events with her family.

Through no fault of her own, Alice found herself surrendered to a high-kill shelter, and was counting down her final hours before being pulled to safety just in time. She is incredibly friendly, calm, and ready to live the life she truly deserves. This weekend our volunteers brought her from Louisiana to a loving foster home in Pennsylvania.

From surviving the odds in high-kill Louisiana shelters to starting their brand-new chapters, Margo and Spruce headed northbound with our volunteers to safe homes in Pennsylvania this weekend!

Margo is a sweet and gentle lab/terrier mix who was discarded by a former owner and pulled to safety just in time. She has nothing left to give but pure love.

She was joined on this life-saving ride by Spruce, an eager, happy-go-lucky 8-month-old lab mix with a whole bright future ahead of him.

This weekend, our volunteers reunited Koda with Bella and Duke, who they transported from Ohio to Missouri last weekend after the unexpected passing of a beloved adoptive family. Because of their size, the transports had to be done in two separate trips and now we're happy to report that the three of them are together again and staying with a temporary family while our rescue partner helps them find a new forever home. 🐾
