✅🎄Christmas gifts delivered to MU children’s hospital today for all the local boys and girls fighting cancer this season. Thanks to all of our donors and especially to The Chi Omegas! It was so nice to see everyone. Even Link the service dog showed up! Happy Holidays Everyone!

Well guys, what could we be more thankful for than Clarke’s great health?!? She is 3.5 years cancer free and flourishing!

With the help of our amazing partners, The Chi Omegas, we were able to put together 30 Christmas gifts to be handed out in December to our battle buddies at MU Children’s Hospital. Go Team Clarke! Thank you for your continued donations.

The hot item in this bag, among other things are called “Warmies” (told you they are hot)! The theme is ‘Christmas Kitties’ as Clarke wanted. The kitten Warmies are like heating pads that warm up in the microwave and give our friends extra comfort. Some smell like lavender for a relaxing bonus!

Clarke received these over the years and we still use them on the regular. They live in our freezer and make great ice packs too! I think they will be loved!

The dedicated, hard-working ladies of the Chi Omegas made today’s delivery possible! We put together 50 activity kits for 3 different age groups to be given out to oncology kiddos at the University Hospital in Columbia. These gift bags are full of stuff to help keep kids busy during long appointments! The kits include toy doctor sets, fidget toys, building block sets, brain teasers, puzzles, activity books, pens, playdoh, stickers, slime and full size candy bars for those that can have a sweet treat!

Clarke and I remember the days people donated stuff like this for our visits. The difference these little things made for us were noticed and remembered. It feels so good to be able to share a bit of joy with our battle buddies!

Clarke’s Creature Comforts is all about focusing on good things and maintaining comfort and distraction during difficult times fighting the fight. Thank you to everyone who supports this cause! Together, we are making a difference!

Giving the biggest shoutout possible to the dedicated ladies of the Chi Omega sorority for ALL they do for Clarke’s Creature Comforts!

Recently, they had Clarke help design a T-shirt for their fundraising event (Late Night Dinner) where they all wore her design on shirts and had a large party to raise funds for our foundation. These girls raised $5,325 in one evening for us!! Isn’t that incredible!?!?

Last week we visited these ladies in their home and joined them to make blankets for our local MU oncology clinic. We had so much fun and it gave me a great opportunity to thank them in person.

Today, their philanthropy chair, Kyra, and I got to deliver the blankets and some other goods to the clinic.

We are so grateful for all the support. I love this work so much! Thanks!

The Chi Omegas threw a dinner party back in October and raised $3188 for Clarke’s Creature Comforts!! And this morning presented me with a check!! We are feeling so blessed this holiday season!! Thank you to our dear friends showing us so much support!! ❤️

Today we met up with Caroline and Emma from the Chi Omegas at the MU Children’s Hospital to drop off blankets and Christmas crafts! We are so grateful for all the support they have given, and this year, the Chi Omegas really stepped up to support CCC in so many ways including fundraising, celebrating Clarke, blankets, and just showing us, again, how wonderful people can be.

It was so great to see all our favorite docs, nurses, child life and staff that took such good care of us! We also were so happy to meet one of the new oncologists they have welcomed to the hospital recently! There are 4 oncologists now which is really great news. When we were done with treatment at this hospital, there was only 1 oncologist!! It’s great to see the clinic grow! They are doing so much outstanding work!
