Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. As we reflect on this important moment in our nation's history, we celebrate the strength, wisdom, and contributions of older adults whose experiences and stories continue to enrich our communities.
Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of learning from the past, honoring those who came before us, and working together to build a more inclusive future for all.
We wish everyone a meaningful day of reflection, celebration, and community.
Please note that Aging Best offices are closed today in observance of Juneteenth. Some senior centers may be open and hosting fundraiser lunches. Please contact your local senior center for details on activities and hours.
❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth!
