Capital Chapter Upstate Conservative Coalition We are a group of like minded individuals determined to promote traditional conservative values in our communities and beyond.

Founded as a grass roots organization in the capital region of upstate New York Jan. 2009 , our first mission is to increase our participation and membership. Our intent is to meet monthly and discuss how we can make a difference in both local and national politics. SCOTUS 6-3: Parents can in writing to the principal, opt their kids out of classes with LGBTQ book characters. It appears to also allow opt-outs of s*x ed classes. Case is Mahmoud v Taylor(2025) should be included in opt-out request. While the ruling is a year old its only been enforced broadly in the last few months. NPR Report:

If school districts violate the opt out ruling or fail to reply within 10 business days; a parent can contact a FREE law firm such as : The American Center for Law & Justice https://www.aclj.org/ , Alliance Defending Freedom https://adflegal.org/ and other pro-bono Christian law firms, who will be busy enforcing this ruling for the 2026-27 school year.
