Congratulations to our members, Zappala Block Company, on their induction into the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry! The registry recognizes New York businesses that have been in operation for at least 50 years and have contributed to their community's history.

Founded in 1922 by Salvatore Zappala, Zappala Block is a family owned and operated block manufacturer, currently led by Ralph Viola and Tom Viola.

Eastern Contractors Association was a proud sponsor of last weekend's Unite the County: Carnival, Sports and Skills event, hosted by ALERT Partnership, Inc. ALERT aims to build the relationship between the community and law enforcement by bringing them together in the communities they serve. Congratulations to everyone involved on a successful event!

Eastern Contractors Association assisted the Tri-County Council of Vietnam Era Veterans in cleaning up the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Gold Star Families Memorial in downtown Albany this morning.
