کراچی سے تعلق رکھنے والے 19 سالہ رایان حبیب احمد نے امریکہ کی ریاست ٹیکساس کے شہر 'دی ووڈ لینڈز' میں منعقدہ دنیا کے مشکل ترین مقابلوں میں سے ایک، 'آئرن مین ٹرائیتھلون' مکمل کرکے ایک نیا قومی ریکارڈ قائم کر دیا ہے۔ رایان نے 226.3 کلومیٹر کا طویل اور کٹھن فاصلہ 15 گھنٹے، 20 منٹ اور 6 سیکنڈز میں طے کیا، جس کے بعد وہ یہ اعزاز حاصل کرنے والے کم عمر ترین پاکستانی بن گئے ہیں۔

آئرن مین ٹرائیتھلون میں تیراکی، سائیکلنگ اور طویل دوڑ شامل ہوتی ہے، جسے ایک ہی دن میں مقررہ وقت کے اندر مکمل کرنا انسانی ہمت اور برداشت کا امتحان سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ رایان حبیب کی اس شاندار کامیابی کو پاکستان بالخصوص کراچی کے لیے ایک بڑا اعزاز قرار دیا جا رہا ہے
