The Leadership Collierville Board of Trustees is proud to announce the appointment of Rachelle Maier as the organization’s new Executive Director!
Maier, a graduate of the Leadership Collierville Class of 2018, steps into the role with an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, strategic planning, and civic engagement within the Collierville community.
Maier holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from Union University. Her diverse professional history consists of roles across multiple sectors, including Youth Villages and Senior Helpers. She currently serves the local community as an Affiliate Realtor with Crye-Leike Realtors. In addition to her professional credentials, Maier is an active graduate of the Collierville Citizens Police Academy and has spent years volunteering on numerous local boards, including the Collierville Rotary Board, the Collierville Education Foundation, the Collierville Arts Council, and the Town’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.
As a long-time resident and a parent of a Youth Leadership Collierville alumna, Maier brings both personal insight and professional passion to the organization's core mission: developing better leaders for a stronger Collierville. Her responsibilities will include leading program development, expanding alumni network engagement, overseeing fundraising initiatives, and serving as the primary representative for Leadership Collierville.
"We are delighted to welcome Rachelle back to Leadership Collierville in this executive role," said Jennifer Preston, incoming President of the Board of Trustees. "Her professional background and dedication to Collierville makes her uniquely qualified to guide us forward."
With the arrival of the new leadership, the Board of Trustees also wishes to express its appreciation to Terry Dean, who seamlessly stepped forward to serve as Interim Executive Director during this organizational transition. Dean, who previously directed the organization from 2006 to 2016, provided vital stability and guidance over the past several months.
The Board of Trustees looks forward to a bright and impactful year ahead under Maier's direction as she works to support future leaders of the Collierville community.
