Our "Encouraging U" Teen Talk meets every Wednesday at 7:30PM at the Empowering U Center. This is a safe space for teens ages 14 to 17 to chat about life and learn stress management techniques. The link to register is in the bio. Please register your teen before attending.

Our Sibling Support Group provides a welcoming and supportive space for brothers and sisters of individuals with disabilities. This group is designed to help siblings connect with others who share similar experiences, explore challenges and successes, and learn strategies for providing support while caring for their own well-being. Through group discussions, activities, and resources, participants can build friendships, gain understanding, and develop skills to navigate family dynamics and everyday life. This is a safe environment where siblings can share openly, feel heard, and find encouragement from others who truly understand their journey.

We laugh, we may cry, we talk, we reminisce with others who understand exactly how we feel to no longer have our moms with us. A bond between a Mother and Daughter is like no other and should be honored, even after our Mothers are gone. This group will be led by our Founder, Kathy Opperman, and is for women whose Mothers are no longer with them. We will share stories of love, coping, struggles, guilt, regret and learning to move forward without one of the dearest persons in our life. Kathy lost her mother in April of 2018 and was inspired to start this group because of the many women who reached out to her with support.

The group meets December 15 at 7:30PM at the Empowering U Center.

NEW! Join us for our new Virtual Pet Loss Group with Donna Carlson- Losing a beloved pet leaves a space in our hearts that only love can fill. Our Pet Grief Support Group is a safe, understanding place to share your story, find comfort, and heal together. 💙 This group is being held on December 12 at 12pm.
Join us — because every bond deserves to be honored.

Navigating the complexities of a distant or estranged relationship with your mother can feel painful, confusing and isolating. Join us to connect with others who share a similar story to help reduce the loneliness, guilt and shame that often accompany such a difficult experience. This group is for BOTH men and women and meets December 11 at 7pm. Link to register is in the bio.
