Those WotW gals they could join in gathered at Lisa’s property where fire went through last July to plant and add back Elder, Choke, Service berries, mock orange, and so many native pollinators for a drainage area. It’s clear the wildlife uses this area for a travel and shelter corridor. I for one had a perfect day working, sharing, and being part of this day. We are happy to help Lisa but loved helping the birds we could see and hear all around us. Always a great day time with these gals!

Hands on Habitat this weekend, or getting Dirty with Lisa! A two fold event that gives us an opportunity to put some habitat back in an area that once carried many upland birds. This area has declined in good habitat and has a destructive fire last year.
Second benefit is helping our Best Mate, Lisa that was significantly hurt in a farm accident this Winter. She just bought her new farm and had lots of aspirations of building the habitat and a few other improvements that have had to be put on hold.
We’re meeting at her farm at 9:00 on Saturday and spending the day giving her a hand, we will potluck lunch and dinner, and beverages. There will be lots of laughs, lots of food, and lots of good hard work for one of our favorite gals in the world!
Maybe we will get a Truck Stuck too!

What an incredible day at our Women, Working Dogs, Wings & Wine event!

From start to finish, it was nothing short of fabulous! Filled with great energy, strong connections, and a shared love for the outdoors and our dogs. We were lucky to have two outstanding dog trainers who provided hands-on instruction and insight, helping both handlers and dogs grow in confidence and skill.

A huge thank you as well to the Cashmere Veterinary Clinic team for sharing practical rehab tips to keep our dogs healthy, strong, and performing at their best.

Grateful for everyone who came out and made the day so special, and we can’t wait to do it again!
