We were so happy to be involved in two great events this past weekend and honored to provide ribbon cuttings for both.

Saturday morning we joined the festivities at the Grand Welcoming to the Revitalized Backstreet River Park in Stratford! It was a fun community gathering on a perfect spring day! The park is a great place for families to gather and enjoy being outdoors together. Then on Saturday afternoon we headed up to Pittsburg to join the one year anniversary celebration at Points North Outfitters. Not only did we get to take a look at their beautiful store and grounds. We were treated to fly casting demos and food prepared by the guides, the same food prepared for customers when they are out for the day on a fishing excursion. We had a great time, learned about the business, some Pittsburg history, and left with our bellies full.

The weather was perfect for a day outdoors. Thank you Backstreet River Park and Points North Outfitters for letting us be a part of your celebrations.

The North Country Chamber of Commerce has a big night planned Friday for the Holiday Shop & Stroll. From 4 - 8 pm, downtown Colebrook welcomes you for holiday shopping and fun. Stores are remaining open until 8 pm. There will be pop up vendors inside of some of the businesses. There will be gift wrapping in the Chamber of Commerce. From 4- 6 pm there will be horse drawn carriage rides on Main Street setting off across from Tori’s. Carolers strolling along the street will share the holiday spirit (feel free to sing along!). Santa will be in town. Don’t miss out on this evening of community camaraderie and local shopping.

Other events happening this weekend:
On Saturday there is a craft fair at the Colebrook School cafeteria, and Sip & Shop in Pittsburg (don’t miss Urban Daughter in West Stewartstown on your way up to Pittsburg). Then, on Sunday, the town tree lighting and Kiwanis Park lighting on Main St, and Santa and Mrs. Claus greeting people at Don Noyes Chevrolet.
