🚨 BREAKING NEWS: A NEW MEDICARE ADVANTAGE OPTION IS COMING TO COÖS COUNTY IN 2027!

If you live in Coös County and currently have a Medicare Advantage plan, you may have received a notice from your insurance carrier that your plan will no longer be offered next year. We have some important news to share!

Although no Medicare Advantage plans were expected to be available in Coös County for 2027, a collaboration between Governor Ayotte and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services late last week has resulted in a new Medicare Advantage option becoming available.

Beginning in November, we will be able to enroll eligible individuals in the new plan. It offers zero-premium PPO options and includes North Country Healthcare and Dartmouth Hitchcock in its network.

Important: If you are losing your current plan for 2027, special enrollment rules apply, so the December 7 Annual Election Period deadline is not applicable. Please contact us to discuss your individual situation and enrollment options.

What about Grafton County?

Residents of Grafton County will have several options for 2027, although some existing plans are being discontinued. The good news is that this same new Medicare Advantage plan will also be available in Grafton, Carroll, Hillsborough, and Sullivan Counties.

If you are considering switching to this new plan or exploring other coverage options, the Annual Election Period runs from October 15 through December 7, 2026.
