2019 Snowflake Festival 'Name Me' stuffed animals contest. Visit the following merchants on Saturday, December 14 to enter the contest: Fiddleheads, Flowers by Sandra, Hicks Hardware, Jaime's Boutique, Lin-Jo Creations, North Country Marketplace, Northern Outlet, Professional Vision (Dr. Kay), Santa's Workshop (at Black Bear Tavern), Strike Zone Pizza Pub, The Blossom Shop, The Old Appletree and The Tillotson Center. Drawings will begin at 3:00 p.m. that day.

Colebrook Citizens:

Do you all like challenges? The North Country Chamber of Commerce has given us a good one with the ‘Light Fight in the North Country’ competition. I really believe Colebrook can win! To register, call the North Country Chamber of Commerce at 603-237-8939 by December 13.

Unfortunately, we have to forgo the beautiful snowflakes we usually have on Main Street. They are in need of some TLC, due to injuries. If you would like to make them well again, please call me.

We have the ability to hang wreathes, kissing balls or boughs in baskets on the telephone poles (grandfathered). We encourage everyone to participate, young and old, in making Colebrook’s downtown a winter wonderland, using our resources. If you need bows made, come by my shop, I’ll be glad to teach you or make them for you.
