What an incredible night for the North Country Missions and the Colebrook Food Pantry and the Pittsburg Pop-Up Pantry! ❤️
For the past year, I have been working on my very first large fundraising event as a board member of North Country Missions, the organization that helps fund both the Pittsburg Pop-Up Pantry and the Colebrook Pantry.
And from that idea, Boots, Barbecue & Bids was born! 🤠
I’ll be honest… bringing this event to life was a LOT of work. There were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed and wondered how I was going to pull it all together. I am so incredibly grateful for my husband, Jamie, who was by my side through it all—helping, encouraging, building, and patiently supporting me every step of the way.
Saturday night was more than I could have imagined. We had an amazing catered barbecue dinner, live music by the Dan Morgan Band, line dancing, a country-themed evening, a photo booth built by Jamie, a candy bar, and an incredible silent auction with 56 amazing items donated by generous businesses and community members.
But the best part of the night was seeing our community come together for a cause that means so much to me.
Because every dollar raised helps us continue providing food to our neighbors through the Pittsburg Pop-Up Pantry. ❤️
I am overwhelmed by the generosity and support shown to us. To everyone who donated an item, purchased a ticket, attended the event, volunteered, bid on an auction item, helped behind the scenes, or simply shared and supported this fundraiser—thank you from the bottom of my heart.
A very special thank you to Jackson’s Lodge for generously donating the space for our event and for donating an incredible silent auction item. Your support means so much to us!
I am so incredibly proud of what our community accomplished together. My heart is absolutely bursting with gratitude.
And because the night was such a success… Boots, Barbecue & Bids will be back next year! 🤠❤️
Thank you for believing in the work we are doing and for helping us make sure our neighbors have food on their tables.
With a very grateful heart,
