I closed the bank account today 😭 it’s such a great thing but I’m so nauseous…. I’m so proud of all that we have accomplished, yet my emotions are still all over the place. This brings our final total donation to $636,475.68. Such a far cry from the $1000 we hoped to donate our first year. Thank you all so much!!! This is every bit your win as ours. Together we really made such a huge difference in so many ways!!!!

This is the last group of pictures I have to share. I am going to miss seeing all of these beautiful faces every year! To think that some of you I may have never met without our event, and although I am so sorry you had a reason to join us, I am so glad you did because you truly made my life better by knowing you! My joke for the day was that my daycare motto was going to be "I raise them fast" - the male and female first place finishers were both my daycare loves! Didn't see that ending coming, but it really is so great!!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for showing up, for sharing your stories and supporting me and each other. Our connection will always remain and I'm only a text or email away if you ever want to reach out and say hi!! All because we loved a boy! Oh how lucky we were Jonathon to have you in our lives. Being surrounded by those who loved you too just makes this Mommy heart so happy!! Having your best friends show up year after year is gratefulness on a whole other level!! And of course, my littlest loves who won't have to ask me to put my computer away or ask if I'm done yet because they want to play...

Seriously, this is the reason I have been avoiding digging too deep into organizing the pictures. BECAUSE THEY LIVED. Every sign I look at just hits so hard. When I would tell families that we would put lots of love into the signs when we made them, I didn't exaggerate. My sister Terri and I would take a full day each year, we would read obituaries, we would look at pictures, we would try to get a sense of each and every one. When weird things would happen, we would laugh and talk to whoever's sign we were working on at that moment. They did live, and we are so grateful that we got to know a little part of them. Their light, along with Jonathon's, shines so bright!!

We have been blessed with the best volunteers in the universe! In the chaos of event day and every day leading up to it, my sanity depends on these people. They are always willing to put up with my emotions with a smile. I know every area on event day was covered and didn't need my micro-managing, which let me hide a lot of years when the feelings got to big for me!! We have been so lucky!!!!

Ripped the bandaid off and started going through pictures tonight 😞 I'll start with some of the unsung heroes of our event - my daycare families. Without their understanding I would literally get no sleep the month of April. Thanks to them for all years of love and support! So many of them are now taller than me, but the fact that they still are willing to show up seriously makes my heart so happy!!

Thank you all for your support over all these years!! My family is forever grateful!! Things are really starting to sink in for me over here and the good-bye is starting to feel real. I've been trying really hard to stay on task, but I'm not going to lie, it is really hard. Each thing that gets crossed off the list makes me feel a little nauseous. I've lived through worse, so I'll get through all the emotions of this too, I just really want to be honest about my mental health and why some things aren't getting done as fast as normal. Like picture posting. I'm really hoping to get that done soon. I have a lot of good ones, it's just hard yet. I sent an email out yesterday to those I had email addresses for and shared this exciting news!! It will take a while to have an exact total because I won't know exactly until I close out all of our accounts and that may take a bit just to make sure all the outstanding bills are paid. Here is the breakdown of our AMAZING year!!
