William H. Williams, of Spencerport, NY, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the age of 92.

Bill is predeceased by his wife, Yolanda Williams; parents, Wilma & William Williams; his sister, Marge Rumsey; his brothers, Fred Williams & Roger Williams.

William is survived by his cherished "baby brother," John (Carol) Williams; his loving sons, Greg (Corinne) Willams and Mark (Noemi) Williams; and his beloved grandchildren, Adam (Lacy) Williams, Loni (Matthew) Moreno, Charlene (Tom) Landry, Natalie (John) Jurs, and Melissa (Matt) Strong. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

At the young age of 21, William answered the call to serve his country, a duty he fulfilled with great pride and honor.

William enjoyed the simple things in life-- a ride on his golf cart, a good cigar, a drink, and most importantly, time spent with the people he loved. He often spoke of how blessed he was to have such a wonderful family, although his family would tell you they were the lucky ones. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, plenty of stories to share, and a whole lot of love.

William will be lovingly remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Rose M. Anabel, age 87 of North Cohocton, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2026 at UR Noyes Health in Dansville. She was born on May 1, 1939 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania to the late Floyd & Mable Peet.

Rose held many jobs throughout her life, retiring in 2006 from Star Headlight in Avon, New York. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing, and was an avid reader. She also loved baking cookies to share with family and friends.

Rosse was predeceased by her daughter, Christina Hagadone; and her partner of 35 years, Ted S. Liddiard.

She is survived by her son, Eric Anable of Wayland, New York; her grandson, Micharl Hagadone of Bath, New York; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to join the family to celebrate & remember Rose’s life from 11am – 1pm on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home in Wayland.

Stephen “Steve” Parks, 83, of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Steve was born in Wayland on April 5, 1943, to the late Lawrence and Hazel (Deuel) Parks. He grew up working on the family dairy farm and milk plant. Steve worked for Rathbun Farms for many years and later served as the head of the bus garage at Naples Central School.

A true community man, Steve devoted more than 60 years of service to the Hatch Hose Fire Department, where he proudly served as chief for more than 16 years. His dedication to the fire department and the people he served was a defining part of his life.

Steve was also a lifelong racing enthusiast and an avid NASCAR fan. More recently, he became a Yankees fan. When he wasn’t farming or serving at the fire department, Steve could often be found at the racetrack. For more than 12 years, he proudly served as Mike Walker’s Crew Chief and was also a valued member of the Dutch & Dean Hoag Pit Crew.

Above all, Steve considered himself a farmer. He truly loved working the land and took great pride in the life he built around it. His hard work, dedication, and willingness to lend a hand will be remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Lawrence and Hazel, Steve was predeceased by his sister, Shirley (Alvin) Hargrave, and his brother-in-law, Stan Rathbun.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Rose (Wheaton) Parks; his children, Stacy Parks, Jennifer (Tony) Webster, and Robin (Nick); his grandchildren: Cecilia & Lucia, Lucas (Brianne Graham) Gilson and his father, Shawn Gilson; his great-granddaughters: Everly Gilson and MacKenzie Brown; his sisters, Margaret and Phyllis; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5:00–8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Walter E. Baird & Sons Funeral Home in Wayland where a firefighter walk-through will start at 7:30pm. Steve’s firemen’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at the Atlanta Hatch Hose Fire Department, 30 University Ave. Burial will take place privately at Clearview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hatch Hose Fire Department in Steve’s memory.

Loon Lake – Cohocton – Brian F. Hamilton, 65 years of age, of Loon Lake, passed away Monday September 14, 2026, at his home.

Brian was born on December 17, 1960 in Bath the son of Thomas and Drewsilla (McMillan) Hamilton. He grew up in Cohocton, graduated from Cohocton Central School with the class of 1980 and has remained a life resident of the Cohocton and Loon Lake areas most of his life.

Brian worked as a corrections officer at Groveland Correctional Facility retiring after 30 years. After that he became a member of the Loon Lake Association and operated the w**d harvester for many years.

His hobbies were many. Brian enjoyed golfing, deer hunting, ci**rs, along with watching basketball and baseball. He was definitely a handyman. He purchased his home at Loon Lake and has worked on it for years to get it to the beautiful home it is today.

Brian was pre-deceased by his parents, Thomas and Drewsilla Hamilton Harrison; his stepfather, Charles Harrison; infant brother, David Hamilton; his aunts and uncles, Linda Hamilton, Margaret (Syd) Dawes, June McMillan; Donald McMillan and Michael Hamilton. He is survived by his brothers, William Hamilton of Painted Post, Daniel (Carol) Hamilton of Canadice, Terrance Hamilton of Cohocton and his sister Kathy (Randy) Bauer of Wayland; his uncle James Hamilton of Cohocton; nieces and nephews, Paul (Kathy) Hamilton, David Hamilton, Morgan (Justin) Bradley, Jason (Nicki) Hamilton, Chris Hamilton and Jessica Hamilton; along with several great nieces and great nephews.

Brian’s family and friends may call Sunday September 20th, 2026, from 1-4pm at St. George-Forsythe Funeral Home, 109 West Naples St., Wayland. His funeral service will be on Monday September 21, 2026, at 11am at the funeral home.
