Matthew’s Hope, Brevard County Our Brevard Campus opened in Cocoa in June of 2022 however Matthew’s Hope has served Orange County since 2010. Doing all this with $0 in government funding.

The ministry was created to help successfully move people forward from homelessness towards a life of independence and self sustainability. Matthew's Hope is a ministry first and foremost demonstrating the love, hope, grace and mercy of Jesus Christ in all we do; and a facilitator of opportunity to those who choose to move forward toward a life of independence and self sustainability. It all began

with a "Freeze Warning" Shelter offering the homeless a place to escape the cold when temperatures dropped to dangerous lows. Matthew's Hope has now has expanded to offer many services to the Homeless of our Community to include everything from basic services such as showers, haircuts and laundry, to Medical Care, a Montessori Preschool & Daycare, Transitional Housing and our Matthew's Hope Chest Workshop & Store. Serving the least of these, without condition!

Jesus called us to love our neighbors, period! No conditions, no judgment, just love unconditionally. He never called us to like anything, loving others doesn’t mean you agree or condone anything. We are not the God Police, God can handle His creation just fine without our help and yet He gave us the privilege to serve others and participate in His mission.

Thank you Desiree Delilah! We so are thankful for this delivery of Bottled Water today when you consider that we were completely out, this was an answer to prayers and we could not be more grateful!

Others wanting to help, we are still very low on Bottled 💦 and Electrolyte Drinks!

We also have an immediate need for Mosquito Repellent and Granola Bars.

This relentless extreme heat is not letting up and is taking a toll on our Guests, especially the elderly and children we care for, which represent nearly 50% of all those we serve.

Our market center turned into a sandwich line yesterday. 120 sandwiches, made by our agents, donated to Matthew’s Hope, Brevard County 👏🏻🥪

They serve 2,000 meals a week to help people right here in Brevard County. They can do that because volunteers show up.

Once again, KW Space Coast showed up. Thank you Julie Jones Realtor for putting this together, Meaghan Finley Lucas for leading us, and Isabel Castro for the drop-off and the BTS videos. And thank you to everyone who came out yesterday, this is only possible because of you. 🤍

🫟Matthew’s Hope is growing!We are looking to add two additional Drivers, CDL Required, and Basic Computer Literacy a plus.

Could be perfect for someone looking for part time work or Retired CDL Drivers.

👀Matthew’s Hope is looking for that right fit in adding two additional Drivers to our Outreach/Advocate Team!

💜We desire individuals with a heart for others that treats others with dignity and respect.

✅On Monday and Wednesday mornings you will go out with our Mobile Teams, seeking out new homeless faces we are not yet serving, registering them and encouraging them to catch one of our Transport Shuttles into our Cocoa Outreach Center for additional services.

✅On Tuesdays and Thursdays you will work with our Transportation Team driving one if our Shuttles picking up the homeless we serve and bring them to our Cocoa Campus for services.

👉You must also be available for special events, an occasional weekend, and possibility of overnight help should we need to open as an emergency shelter due to Hurricanes or extreme cold weather.

👉There is the possibility of an occasional need for you to drive one of our Sleeper Buses to an Event or to fill in for an overnight driver in the case of illness or vacations.

👉This position is approx. 25 hours a week.

Monday: 6:00am to 11:30am
Tuesday: 7:30am to 2:00pm
Wednesday: 6:00am to 11:30am
Thursday: 7:30am to 2:00pm
