Our next Public Tour is Tuesday July 2 from 10:00am to 11:30am

There is a ridiculous amount of misinformation and False Narratives regarding homelessness, what people believe, the causes of homelessness, what we do, what we are, how we do it, where the money comes from, etc. so here is your chance to see fir yourself, ask your questions, and know truth.

Every so often we offer tours of our facilities while actual services are taking place so the public can see for themselves what takes place.

If you are interested in learning of all we do, come tour our Matthew’s Hope Brevard Campus, along with one of our Sleeper Buses. Come witness our mission in motion on an actual Outreach Day.

With this extreme heat, Matthew’s Hope is in need of Electrolyte Drinks, such as Gatorade, bottled water and protein drinks, such as Ensure for our many elderly guests.

We would love to be able to open as a cooling center, however we simply do not have the resources necessary.

Our first and greatest challenge is that the summer months are historically the lightest months of giving while our needs are growing daily.

We have freezers full of chicken and assorted proteins to prepare fresh hearty meals but it takes so much more… there is staffing, the need for more volunteers, and the financial support to cover Utilities, Fuel, and so much more.

Please keep our homeless men, women and children in prayer. They are in fact our neighbors.

Matthew 25:35-40

If any churches out there are open to opening their doors to these souls, we most likely can help out with transportation on our non outreach days if needed.

We’re looking for 250 individuals or organizations to join us in our fight against homelessness. This girl is a Rock Star! Meet our volunteer Kabrina. She is a Barber at Lucky Devil Barber Shop (Best Full Service Barber Shop on the Island) who gives freely of her time helping make our guests look sharp! Her smile starts their better day, the great cut completes it!

Sometimes a simple smile and a haircut can change someones outlook on life.

The top pictures are of Thomas’ first hair cut back in February. We’ve seen such a difference in his demeanor since then, so much so that he’s earned the nickname “Mr.Smiles”. He got his second one today since the heat index has been hitting the 100’s lately, and his smile has gotten a little bit bigger. We always do our best to nurture dignity and respect here at Matthew’s Hope, and we’re blessed to have volunteers who share that mindset by offering free haircuts to our guests.

Matthew’s Hope is in need of one additional Driver to take our Sleeper Buses throughout Brevard County Sunday through Friday evenings.

Shifts typically run three 12 hour overnights, 33-39 hours a week, Sunset to Sunrise. Three on, Four off.

Our first two Sleeper Buses are on a roll, with a 3rd in production. We need one additional Driver now and we will be hiring two additional Drivers in late July.

Must have a solid work history, a clean driving record, a CDL License, and experience driving Coaches or other large vehicles.

Each Bus has Security Cameras, a trained and licensed Security Guard and a Driver with 20 Guests.
