This week, we held two new member meetings. Each began with a fun icebreaker, followed by subgroup introductions to spark interest in our business and technical sides! We wrapped up with interactive activities to provide new members with hands-on experience.

Girl Scouts workshop!! 🤖💚

Last week, we held our 2-day workshop for Girl Scouts to earn their robotics badges!

The scouts learned about programming, coding, and robot design before working in groups of 2 to design and build their own robot. We also had other fun and hands-on activities including our programming game Workshop In a Box and making marshmallow catapults!

Towards the end of the workshop, we showed them our robot and shared how we designed and built it. To wrap up, each group presented their robots and earned their robotics badges!

Thank you to all of the Girl Scouts who joined us! We loved seeing everyone's creativity and excitement for STEAM! ✨

First Tee Golf Workshops! ⛳
On Monday, our team partnered with First Tee, a local youth golf organization, to host two STEAM workshop sessions for 40 students.

During the workshops, we explored how science connects to golf by introducing concepts like aerodynamics and friction. Students also did fun hands-on activities, including building marshmallow catapults and nest towers followed by a robot demonstration.

A huge thank you to for giving us the opportunity to introduce FIRST and the world of STEAM through fun and interactive games!
