Cloverdale Youth Soccer League

Cloverdale Youth Soccer League Cloverdale Youth Soccer League is a non-profit volunteer organization providing the opportunity for our children to experience soccer.

The purpose of the Cloverdale Youth Soccer League (CYSL) is to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer for the boys and girls under 19 years of age in the Cloverdale area. CYSL wants to provide the appropriate level of competitions by providing competitive level and recreation level teams and want to ensure equal treatment for both. CYSL encourages the development of the fundamental sk

ills of soccer and the spirit of team play; additionally, it encourages coaches to attend seminars and clinics to aid them in their instruction of the players. Safety, sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game should be stressed by coaches and representatives of the league.

We are using player assessments as a tool to gather information that helps us create the most balanced and competitive teams possible across the league. The goal is to ensure fair play, positive development opportunities, and an enjoyable experience for all players throughout the season. Assessments help us better understand each player’s current skill level, experience, and comfort on the field so that rosters can be formed as evenly as possible. Hope to see y'all there, and some light refreshments will be for sale to support CYSL.
