The 8th Grade Class is hosting a Co****le Tournament to start their fundraising efforts towards 8th grade day away/promotion dance!

Come for a day of competition, bbq lunch, and community fun to support a great bunch of kiddos who will be promoting from Washington at the end of this school year.

Each team is $60 to register, double elimination (2 games minimum) and lunch is included.

FROM THE WASHINGTON SCHOOL OFFICE:

I am sharing with you the flyer for our orientation scheduled for tomorrow, August 5th. It is essential that the Parent Data Confirmation (PDC) be completed prior to your student receiving their class placement and/or schedule. Our IT team will be present on-site to offer assistance to parents and guardians with the PDC, should it be necessary.
If you would like in-person assistance, please bring your student's medical insurance card or medical information, as it will be required to complete the PDC.

Les comparto el folleto informativo sobre nuestra sesión de orientación programada para mañana, 5 de agosto. Es indispensable completar el proceso de Confirmación de Datos de los Padres (PDC) antes de que su estudiante reciba la asignación de clases y/o el horario escolar. Nuestro equipo de informática estará presente en el lugar para brindar asistencia a los padres y tutores con el PDC, en caso de ser necesario.

Happy Last Day of School to our Washington families and staff!!

Today is a minimum day:
5th & 6th Grade Students will be dismissed at 12:15 PM
7th & 8th Grade Students will be dismissed at 12:20 PM

CONGRATULATIONS to this years 8th graders who will be promoting tonight!!! Promotion is at 6pm at Cloverdale High School.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week is coming up next week at Washington School, May 4th, 2026 - May 8th, 2026!!!

We want our teachers and staff at Washington to know that we care about them and appreciate all their hard work, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Please see the sign up sheet link below for opportunities to help!

🌮Tuesday, May 5th - Taco Tuesday: Please see the sign up sheet for items needed for lunch.
✨Wednesday, May 6th - Wellness Wednesday: Mini massage compliments of Sally from Bubbling Well Therapeutics and meditation sessions courtesy of Studio 5 Yoga, from 9-12pm; Sweet Treats compliments of Cloverdale Unified School District.
🍹Thursday May 7th - Tropical Thursday: Enjoy tropical mocktails in the staff room.
🍦Friday, May 8th - Frosty Friday: Ticket for a Frosty Treat at a local establishment.

There are a total of 40 teachers and staff at Washington and we want to make sure to appreciate them ALL!! To sign up: please put your name and phone number next to an item you would like to bring and let us know how much/many of that item. If there is anything else that you would like to donate on another day, there is a space on the sign up sheet and I will contact you to coordinate.
