Rauscher Farm Fun Facts: Starting in 2022, the creation of a Pollinator Meadow Nursery--native plants for native pollinators. Many wonderful volunteers gave their time, energy, and passion (see some below). Project advisor was Professor Robert GeGear of UMASS Dartmouth who will be on Rauscher Farm this Saturday, August 22, 1-3 PM. Come meet him

Rauscher Farm Fun Facts: Tale of two plants. Northern Blue Flag Iris, a native iris species seen on Rauscher Farm, is nutitionally beneficial for native bumble bees. Japanese Iris, an introduced, non-native species is show not substance.
