Clinton LL Baseball and Softball for the first time are running a Masters Tournament pool. A little extra rooting interest whether you are a golf nut, or have never watched before!

PS...it is easiest to fill it in on a tablet or laptop. You can fill it out using the Google Sheets app on your phone, too.

Here is how it works...

Every square would get four randomly selected players; one in each of the top 1-20, 21-40, 41-50, and 51-60 of the World Golf Rankings that make the field on Thursday. Winner of the pool is determined by the lowest combined scoring team at the end of the tournament on Sunday.

Look at the image with the red highlights in the top left corner square (T.H.). The four other red highlights are the locations of where his four random golfers will be placed (just like the Super Bowl Squares random numbers).

For the scoring, if a player doesn't make the start of play on Thursday, the next highest ranked player will fill that vacant slot. If a player does not make the cut for Saturday, that player's score will be counted as the highest score of the tournament at the end of Sunday, plus 1 stroke added to that score.

This coming Saturday!!! Who doesn’t want to hang out in front of some local businesses, support your little league and softball league and maybe even kill two birds with one stone and get some Easter goodies at these fine establishments?? Every slot helps!! 🥎⚾️

Evaluations are around the corner!

Spring Evaluations will be held on March 27th and March 28th at the Clinton Middle School.

At this time, the only divisions required to attend evals will be:
Softball - AAA
Baseball - Farm, AAA and Majors

Information regarding groupings was emailed out on 3/22.

Friday, March 27th
5:30 - 6:30 PM: Majors Group 1
6:45 - 7:45 PM: Majors Group 2

Saturday, March 28th
8:30 - 9:30 AM: Softball AAA
9:45 - 10:45: Farm Group 1
11:00 - 12:00: Farm Group 2
12:15 - 1:15: Baseball AAA

Players should bring their glove, a hat, and sneakers. Players can also bring their batting helmet and bat if they have them. The league does provide helmets and bats.

📢 Greetings! There is some confusion with a post by another Clinton Little League FB page from another state. We have not posted any information about rosters, and any information regarding rosters will be emailed first.

We will begin finalizing rosters over the next week, and schedules will be drafted shortly there after.

Our annual Tag Day is fast approaching! April 4th we need some baseball and softball volunteers to come out and help support the Clinton Area Little League and Clinton Youth Softball by holding those cans!!! We would like to thank all the local businesses participating for their support.
